Other fighting results   Fite Nite 2002   Event was held on Kauai 10/2002.  It was mainly a kick-boxing tough-man contest.  There were 3 rounds with an extra round if there was a draw.   Isaac Josiah won the middle weight championship.  He defeated Edward Soares,  scoring one knock down,  he also beat Bigno and  mixed martial artist Abe Rodrigues . Brent "Captain" Cook defeated Stan "The Man" Gonsalves for the senior championship. Harold "The Ilocos Tiger" Pablo beat Jeffery Lopez and Isaac "Wild Thing" Libre. Cal Santos  drew a bye and won by default without having to fight when no one was willing or able to fight him in the second round. Kenny Melchor  narrowly beat Ka-mole fighter Eben Kaneshiro for the welterweight championship. Jimmy "The Doc" Stamm beat Eric Kauhane for the cruiser-wieght title. Roger "Fine Wine" Soares won his fight over Hell's Angel's Santiago who dislocated his left shoulder in the second round. Results from the Garden Island.             There are more striking competitions slated for this year on Kauai  People tend to find these events more exciting than Jiu-Jitsu.
